Description: The child care center is a memorial in the name of Sarah Corson who died in Tokyo, Japan in 1997. This young woman was raised in the First Presbyterian Church and loved children. Her parents generously gave the initial funds to start this project. Many others contributed toward this $1.6 million dollar project. Sarah is pictured here with her two nieces, Mallory and Madeline. who are now in college.
The Sarah Corson Child Care & Learning Center has been in operation since 2001. The facility was purpose-built as a child care facility and is a state of the art, fully accredited child care institution providing quality childcare for for children as young as six weeks of age.
