About the Provider
Head Start prepares children for kindergarten by enhancing the social and cognitive development of a child through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services. Throughout the program year, RMSER’s teaching staff implements the Creative Curriculum. This curriculum is based on valid science-based research and standardized training procedures, and curriculum materials to support implementation. It also promotes school readiness in the areas of language and cognitive development, early reading and math skills, social-emotional development, physical development and approaches to learning and is aligned with the Head Start Child Outcomes Framework.
