Description: Tender Loving Care (TLC for short), a ministry of Riverview Baptist Church, opened their doors in 2000. They are a Christian daycare center serving children ages 6 months to 12 years old. TLC currently serves 129 children, but they have openings to share more love in all classrooms. TLC has many loving, caring individuals that comprise the staff. TLC’s director is Angela Elliott. She has been with TLC for four years, and has over 12 years of managerial experience. She is a recent graduate of the Practical Nursing Program at Giles Tech Center, and holds a current license in Virginia for LPN. In the infants to one-year-old class, they have Ann Buckland, Mildred Stevens, Lauren Thompson, and Michelle Martin providing excellent care for the little ones. In the one-year-old class, they have Fern Echols and Charity Hurley there to help the children as they learn to walk and talk. In the two-year-old class, they have teacher Jennifer Howard, and helpers Crystal Bailey and Chelsea Warner who do a wonderful job of keeping the children moving in their daily activities at the center.
