They do Not communicate with parents about important issues! For instance we were Not informed our child was Not eating only told after questioning why he was coming home starving!!! Also they are closed more often than any daycare I have ever heard of!!! They also constantly call or text and say the child has a fever and is sick we would take him straight to the doctor and be informed the child is Not Ill in anyway and that they have had more than one child brought there from the same daycare and they were Not Ill in anyway either!!! I truly feel they do everything possible to send children home or close as often as possible simply because they don't feel like watching them!!!!
I am very happy with this center! I toured other daycares in the area before choosing Rivertown, and this center was above all others. It's clean, all teachers and the owner are very professional. I am very pleased! I have read the reviews on this page and I am VERY confused at the comments. The owner is very professional at all times. So, I would chalk it up as nothing more than self inflicted drama.
Better hope the owner like you and your child or they will manipulate the situation so you are forced to leave. And then the owner will harass you with emails trying start a fight. Very unprofessional and immature. How unreal.
Owner is vindictive. She will manipulate the child's situation and incidents that parents don't know about that "happened at daycare" of her own benefit. Expensive for the area and they are always raising rates or adding new fees. There are too many daycares in the area to pay for your child to be cared for at this one. Oh, and their website boosts a webcam, but the owner said someone kept hacking into it so they haven't had a webcam for over a year, yet still advertise they have such.
