Description: Christian schools have been around for a long time. In America this goes all the way back to the pilgrims, who wanted to make sure their kids could read the Bible. In fact, education as we know it started in the Christian Church literally! The small community would build a church that most of the time doubled as the school until the town could afford to build a separate building. Prayer and Bible study were a part of American Education for over 200 years. Only within the last 30 years have we excluded God from our children's education. This has forced Christians to start all over again.
