Description: Daycare Daily Schedule When What 7:00 - 8:00 Breakfast- nutritious meal for children who arrive early in the morning 8:00 - 9:20 Center Free Play 9:20 - 9:40 Group time, songs, finger-plays, rhymes, music, & other learning games 9:40 - 10:00 Craft time -craft or art project 10:00 - 10:20 AM snack 10:20 -10:40 Active story time - stories where children can participate 10:40 - 11:40 Get up and move - outdoor / indoor play (weather permitting) 11:40 - 12:00 Fine motor skills - puzzles, pre-writing skills, color, and draw 12:00 - 12:30 Lunch - healthy lunch made of at least 3 food groups 12:30 - 2:00 Nap Time - listen to quiet music while resting; older children can look at books quietly during this time. 2:00 - 3:00 Quiet Play -as children start to wake up they can play or look at books 3:00 - 3:15 PM snack - nutritious fun snack 3:15 - 6:00 center free play and pick up time (Activities and times are subject to change)
