Description: Progressive Learning for Children was established to provide a comfortable transition between the home and the initial childcare and school experience of children ages six weeks to five years. This is achieved through a creative, stimulating program, in a relaxed, secure, environment.
In recognizing that "growth is the essence of life" and through play children enhance the learning of skills, knowledge and dispositions that guarantees success in later schooling, Progressive Learning's programs are designed to refine the natural learning abilities and preserve the individuality of each child as they relate to society.
We believe that children thrive from positive experiences and innately want to succeed. Therefore, providing a suitable environment toward individual and group success and acquiring positive self-image is of primary importance. We concentrate on the developmental areas involving the child's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth, as well as cultural environment. An understanding that children reach these levels willingly, when they are ready, provides us with the key to all successful learning.
