A Truly Exceptional Daycare
I tried to submit an initial review but it said there was an error so I apologize if this is a duplicate. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this daycare. From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. The staff has remained consistent for years—a true testament to how well this center is run. That kind of stability is incredibly rare and so comforting as a parent.
The owner is warm hearted, approachable, and always going above and beyond to make sure families feel supported and seen. You can tell she genuinely cares—not just about the kids, but about the parents too. She’s built something special here, and it shows every single day.
The teachers are patient, kind, and truly love what they do. I’ve seen firsthand how they nurture each child with care, respect, and compassion. My child has grown so much emotionally, socially, and developmentally thanks to their guidance.
It breaks my heart to see any negative reviews because they do not reflect the truth of this amazing place. But when people do not get their way, they say things out of spite. So many families have been here for a long time with younger siblings going through classrooms too because they trust and love the team here. That speaks volumes.
If you’re looking for a daycare where your child will be safe, loved, and encouraged to grow—this is the place.
We used this provider for less than 6 months. We had high hopes in the beginning but quickly realized that the environment was very chaotic. It seemed as if there were to many kids to employee ratio. Did not seem to have a lot of structure. My child had a hard time attending each morning. There were times I witness negativity and raising of voices from the staff. Needless to say, I pulled my child out as soon as possible.
The above review is inaccurate and highly distasteful. I have been bringing my child here since Poppy Patch has opened, and have had nothing but amazing experiences with this daycare. I, along with many other parents who have started here since they have opened, have still been with them. Not once have I ever had a concern about my child’s learning, safety, cleanliness of the daycare, nothing. The teachers and the owners are amazing, patient, understanding, and supportive of every child’s needs and learning styles. The daycare is very clean and has a very welcoming environment. I have a great relationship with my child’s teachers and the owners, and think that is extremely important when sending your child to daycare. This is absolutely a learning center, and I have seen my child grow in so many ways. It is a shame that some people have nothing better to do, that to put others down over not getting their way. I highly recommend Poppy Patch, and am thankful to be a part of a wonderful program.
My son has been in the care of this place for aprox 7 months. He has come home with multiple diaper rashes, yeast infections and bruises. We have had to sign multiple incident reports. We love some of the teachers but they work in an environment that does not live up to their potential. Children need a place to flourish and develop and all this place is is a babysitting ring circus. Kids crying everywhere and fires just being put out instead of little minds learning. We gave our 2 weeks notice and when asked why we told them the whole truth and maybe we should have waited at the end of our two weeks because they just terminated us there on the spot. Very unprofessional, dirty and not an environment I would put my dog in next time knowing what is going on
