The school meets the responsibility of developing the whole child by providing experiences for growth in all areas - social, emotional, cognitive and physical. Preparing each individual to accept the demands and challenges for a productive life in our democratic society is the shared responsibility of students, school staff, parents, and community. Providing a quality education for each student is at the heart of Guion Creek Elementary. Guion Creek Elementary is culturally diverse with many families who speak a language other than English in their homes. Children have come to Guion Creek Elementary School from many areas, such as India, Vietnam, Africa, Mexico, China, Pakistan, Estonia, Italy, Japan, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba, Taiwan, Russia, Latvia, Ivory Coast, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan.
