About the Provider
The Phelps Ingersoll Center for Children’s purpose is to provide high quality, professional childcare and early childhood education to children age 3 – 5 years. The center provides a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children. In addition, the center acts as an education resource for parents and provides assistance in meeting the needs of the families served. The preschool is licensed by the state of Connecticut, and uses the Middletown Preschool Curriculum, developed from the CT Preschool Curriculum and Assessment Frameworks.
