Perkins, Misty

Hello! My name is Misty Perkins and I have been a child care provider for the past 10 years. I began doing child care with a Residential Certificate and then became licensed as a provider with the State of Utah in 2013. I enjoy working with children of all ages and provide a safe and loving environment for all children! Each stage of development for every child in my care is fun for me--I enjoy seeing the babies grow and learn, the toddlers and their happy excitement for songs, the preschoolers and helping them get ready for kindergarten, and providing a restful place for the school-age children when they arrive at the end of their school day. I do provide transportation to school and other activities the children are involved in. It is a privilege being a family care provider and I enjoy learning ways to make my program a positive place for children to learn and grow! I also provide each family with a copy of the Parent Handbook, which includes my contract information,expectations, and other important information.
