This facility was found unexpectedly but was I was definitely pleasantly surprised. The director Kinetta was very flexible in regards to meeting with me to reccieve a application, as well as to return paperwork and give a tour/answer my questions, as well as the schedule/ hours I need care, and contact methods to reach her. I have had experience with providers in the area who claimed to be open late hours and really weren't or who claimed to be privately owned and had various family members working there with very little professionalism. Kinetta gave me the background of the family and also introduced me to them as well. She was very transparent and very honest about improvements the company is making. With it being a really hard time in the economy, I was hesitant for my boys to return to daycare.I have 2 boyss, ages 2 and 8 and I was glad to know they are not smashed together in the same class. My 2 year old is very choosey and takes his time to adapt. Kinetta and the other ladies that are staff were extremely patient and that also included the owner of the company who was very hands on. They made sure to deep clean all throughout the day and most importantly follow state guidelines to keep all the kids safe. Both of my boys loved being here and not to mention its extremely affordable!! I was very suprised that they are willing to be accommodating with the rates and take into consideration the struggles families are facing. This is a honest review 100% To conclude I love the fact they personally cook the meals for the children, they personally clean and spend time with the kids and have educational curriculum that they have in place and follow. Your child will not be in front of a tv all day. The only reason my kids are not there currently is because there was changes with my health and I now work from home. My children will be returning if I need childcare services again and I am so happy I found this facility. I do 100% recommend!

When dealing with unprofessional, low life, trifling people- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! But I did not choose this daycare because it was cheap; I chose them only after calling around to every school in my area and NOBODY had any openings. I decided not to judge this daycare based on appearance and give them a try considering my son would not be there no more than two hours a day. Pebbles is very unprofessional and down right ratchet. If you don’t mind your kid watching tv all day and eating cookies and donuts for snack (with nothing to drink); then this is the ideal school.
This school is only interested in collecting a check from the State for parents that receive child care assistance. I tried for three days to meet with the director, Mrs. Harvey but she was never there or she late arriving. My first impression was bad. I was not given a tour nor was I told the name of the driver. I have never met the driver. I asked for his name and number and was told by Mrs. Harvey that she couldn’t give that to me but that he had my contact information. I should have known to walk away at that moment.
For a whole week; I had an unsettling feeling about this daycare. The first day I picked him up, I asked Ms. Whitney what time did he arrive and she told me that he was on the daycare van for 1 ½ hours. I called the next day to speak with the director Mrs. Harvey and she told me something different.
Two out of the four days of the mystery driving picking up my son- he was 30 minutes late. My son’s teacher called me inquiring on where the driver was. Finally he arrived and told my son’s teacher that he was at another school waiting on another student. I called the daycare and Mrs. Harvey was very harsh with her tone and made up any story to appease me. She said every kid was picked up late that day because of traffic and said they called the school and made them aware. I told her they DID NOT call my son’s school because his teacher called me looking for the Pebbles van.
I asked Mrs. Harvey if this was a problem with them picking up my son; considering the fact that two of the four days the driver was LATE. Mrs. Harvey says this was not a problem for them but if it was a problem for me that I should find another daycare. I, in turn, asked her if this was something I should get used to- them being late picking him up and she responded “YEA!” and began laughing. I told her that this didn’t work for me and ended the call.
I had to leave work early and went to remove my son from the school. When I arrived, Ms. Whitney handed me a letter to tell me that they were no longer going to pick up my son from school as of TODAY. First of all: the letter was not on letterhead, 2. It did not have an address, telephone number or website, 3. The letter was not signed or dated, 4. And the letter did not have my name or my son’s name. I put the letter in the trash and told Ms. Whitney all the viable information that was missing from it.
I had to leave to get a money order to pay tuition for the week and when I came back, Ms. Whitney was gone. I grabbed the letter from the trash and handed it to the little girl that was watching the kids and told her maybe we should sign the letter, date it, and that she should make a copy for me and keep the original.
I chose to be helpful … really to be condescending, but to also make a point. The letter was a joke and if the State came in to audit- the letter would definitely not be in compliance.
I had anxiety all week about this school but my anxiety went away after we parted ways. I did not feel valued. I was not valued and neither was my son. They only care about collecting a check from state. Pebbles is a disgrace. I was going to call state and report them but they’ve been reported a few times already. Instead I chose to write this review to make other CONCERNED parents aware: steer clear of this establishment!!!!
