I have nothing but kind words and experiences from this daycare. They've always been kind and caring towards my family and my son Mavi has gone here for 2 years and just recently has started preschool in August and still asks to come back here everytime i drive by, I was always informed of closures week/s ahead of time and the teachers are all amazing and kind and caring, theyve even helped me when i had car troubles.I got a mini report on my son literally everyday including his good days and bad, they've made accommodations for his picky eating habits and engaged with him all the time. He felt safe and loved there and if I ever have any more kids this is the first place I'll go too.this daycare goes above and beyond any expectation ive ever had and ive never had to worry about my son,This daycare is absolutely worth the time effort and wait.
This place is ghetto and very unprofessional. A worker by the name of Ashley was recorded saying she has sex with her own father who had been in prison for year . She said these disturbing things in front of children. There is video and audio proof. The owners knows of this and keeps her there around kids. One time she keft children on the playground alone while she went on parking lot to speak to someone. Ashley the worker got into my 2 year old daughters face and said some very inappropriate things in which I was told weeks later. I spoke to owners about too many disturbing things about thus worker and stated it had nothing to do with them. Todd one of the owners was very unprofessional and childish he stated my review was a lie as if Im a child and I'm not stating facts which proof of everything is there. The owner had me sign my kids in on days they did not attend and there is a investigation in process and the proof has been provided. I removed my kids and their new daycare is very professional and educates my children very well.
I can't say enough good things about the staff, owners, and facility at Charley's Angels. My daughter attended for a little over a year until we moved out of the city when she turned 2. The hardest part about moving away from St. Louis for me was not leaving behind some of our friends, our charming little South City house, the great restaurants and fun things to do...it was leaving my daughter's school! We built relationships with everyone here, and my daughter loved it so much it was usually hard to get her to leave in the afternoon! It really is the staff here that is so amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that they genuinely care for each and every child here. Speaking of staff, turnover was pretty low. My nephews go to a pricey Montessori school in the county, and they can't hold on to a teacher for anything. From the very beginning, my kiddo fit right in and adapted easily to her new school. She's a pretty smart kid, and we have always worked on the usual toddler stuff like letters and colors at home, but it never ceased to amaze me the things she picked up on at school. There is plenty of time for play here, but there is also a strong emphasis on structured learning, music, movement, and art. Like I said, I can't say enough positive things about this facility, but I will also add that everything was always clean (without smelling overwhelmingly of bleach), and no matter what time of day we were there dropping off or picking up it NEVER felt chaotic. Our family will truly miss everyone at Charley's Angels, and I recommend to anyone looking for a full-time day care facility in the South City area to call Charlene and become part of the family.
I have a special needs child and was very concerned about finding a daycare that would be suitable for his uniqueness. Well, Charlene Walker of Charley's Angels Learning and Development Center helped ease my fears and adress all of my concerns for his development. This is not a "babysitting" day care...it is REALLY a Learning and Development Center. My son has made amazing strides in following directions, interacting with other children and communicaton. I am amazed. Charley's Angels has been a true blessing in our lives.
