Plan: When going outside and coming in from outside, head counts will still be completed with the attendance sheet on the clipboard. There will be at least 2 workers outside with the children when 2 workers are needed to maintain ratios. 1 worker will be with them when there are less children and remaining in ratio. If there are 2 workers, one will be in the front of the line & one will be in the back making sure all children are accounted for and make it outside and back inside. If there is only one worker, they will walk backwards watching the children as they go in and out to make sure all children make it in and out. Workers will also now use a walking rope when going outside and back inside. The children that like to wonder off while in line, will now be placed at the front and will also have the walking rope to keep them in line. |
