About the Provider

Our goal is to encourage literacy, language development and a love of books. We have a special reading corner where children may gather to "read" and share the books in our library.
A music teacher visits every week for one hour and helps the children understand how to follow directions, listen, discriminate sounds, acquire a sense of rhythm, and participate in a group.
We have a continuing science/nature theme throughout each month, but we often create science curriculum that reflects the interest of the children.
Children experience math through sorting, counting, patterns, sequencing and other pre-math skills during group time. Story telling, sand table, water play, art, dramatic play, block play, and outdoor play all add to the extensive curriculum and to the enjoyment of the children.
