Question by Steven (15 days ago): Hello. Just wondering what your list is like and the cost associated with getting my 1 year old son in daycare.
Poor management and claim to have circulium that isn't follow!!!! Horrible director needs trained on how to be professional and treat her families with respect . I have picked up my child in the afternoon multiple times and have noticed that they has been sitting in a poopy diaper and not changed . They are never in ratio . The director told me she was too busy to help me find my kids wipes and diapers to be changed . I have got phone calls telling me that my child couldn’t come because they are understaffed and can’t have any more kids show up . They have emailed parents and told them that they’re closing the center early for the day because they don’t have enough staff . I have to leave work early to make sure my child is picked up . Staff have had to call CPS multiple times because of kids coming in with unusual bruises and horrible diaper rashes like they’re not being taken care of at home. I do know one teacher who left was going to be an emergency Foster placement for a child because or neglect . Diapers don’t get change regularly and my child has ended up with horrible diaper rashes . I know they have had a lot of teachers turn over , especially good teachers . I am looking to find a new daycare for my child. do not recommend north creek and state really needs to shut the place down.
My children LOVED this daycare and I left happy most the time of the way my children were treated and the fun they had
The staff are nothing but wonderful and amazing. They have turned the center around and am proud my children go to North creek.
I'm so grateful for the progress North Creek has made. Starting with Katrina who is an amazing director. She's very sweet, intelligent and truly cares for the children's well being. My daughter is in pre-k and her teacher Ms. Shauna is also amazing. She really knows her stuff! Every week is a new theme, learning activities, artwork and crafts, even the free play is mind stimulating. My daughter has learned so much from her, getting close to reading also. Thank you also to all the staff who have put hardwork into my childs life. I feel safe with her there and she's happy to go to class.
I absolutely love this daycare. They accommodate every need that my children have. Previous to this daycare my children havent ever went to a center besides 2 days which i withdrew them from because my 2 year old would cry an tell me he wanted to go home. My son now loves to go to "school". I also enjoy having the app on my phone that lets me know when they, eat, take a nap, and all their daily activities. Everytime a picture is posted you can see how happy all the children are. Katrina is an awesome director along with all the other staff she has. They care genuinely about the children in their care.
Great center. Really nice and friendly staff.
I have worked daycare for numerous years and have been in the child care field for longer. Being a parent is a very different view. I kept my daughter home with me or with grandma for almost a year and when we toured North Creek I fell in love. I love that I don't feel bad for calling almost everyday to check on my kiddo. I love that she is excited to go to "school" and that they are very willing to have her there. I am so appreciative of the teachers and management there and highly reccommend to all of my parent friends.
Poor management and claim to have circulium that isn't follow!!!! Horrible director needs help on how to be professional and treat her employees with respect and make sure the teenagers are there to take care of the littles that are in their care parents pay good money to have their children go there and the money definitely doesn't get used in the way it should
I sent my child here it only lasted a little over a month. My child started having a change in his behavior; very angry, aggressive, and hated everything. The staff told me my child was always being mean to other children when I asked my child he would just say he hated going I ended pulling my child out after an incident with a teacher and him. When i asked for details the assistant director made a comment about pulling down my son's pants which horrified me. The director found no problem this comment and told me we would work together to find a solution for my son. This was a false statement. I put my child in another daycare and his behavior changed back to being a normal happy child. He has made comments about "I'm happy going to a daycare where I'm liked" "I'm not sad anymore going to daycare" I don't what happened to him in this place but I would never send him back.
THE NEW DIRECTOR CARRIE IS ABUSIVE TO CHILDREN. SHES VERY JUDGEMENTAL AND OVER CHARGES. SHES VERY RUDE AND HAS RUINED THE CENTER SINCE HE TOOK OVER.
My child has been going to this center for quiet some time now. When new management started to come in and change things, I realized that my time at north creek was about over. At least twice a week, we got told that my child could not go to the center because they were understaffed or "forgot" that we had told them he would not be in until later. If they did not arrive by 9:30am, the kids were not allowed to be in daycare due to under staffing, even if their schedule said they did not come in until later that day. Or if your child had multiple doctor appointments they would question if your child was really that ill. The center was great until new staffing. Now it just seems questionable as to when and if you can ever bring your child in.
