About the Provider
Our inspiration is the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy. This approach is rooted in our belief that children are competent learners with a pre-existing knowledge base, that teachers are companions on the learning journey and the environment is an important prompt through which teachers, parents and the community engage children in the joy of exploration and inspiration.
Our children are always encouraged to try new things, think out of the box, succeed, fail, regroup and try again. When we applaud the process, respect the effort and value the work as accomplishment itself, we teach children the importance of trial and effort. At the same time, we provide emotional support through applause, encouragement and modeling healthy relationships. Early childhood education is not a sterile environment, but rather a well-tuned balance of challenging and loving support of children.
