Description: New Horizon Academy is a ministry of New Horizon Baptist Church, Ward, Arkansas. We are located on Hwy. 31, one mile south of the intersection of Arkansas Highways 31 and 38, between Beebe and Lonoke. The church building is right on the highway, and the school building is behind the church. There is a fenced-in playground in back which can be accessed from the lunch room.
Having a desire to “nurture our children in the admonition of the Lord,” NHBC created a school. Although our original purpose was to minister to our congregation, we also desire to serve our community. To this end, we accept students who do not attend NHBC. We offer classes for all grades, preschool, kindergarten, elementary, and secondary. All students learn the same subjects taught in the public schools, but from a Christian perspective. The most important class, which we require every student to study, is Bible.
As we grow, we plan to extend the preschool to include nursery. If you drive by our facility, you will notice the construction behind the playground where four new classrooms will be housed. We invite you to come by to view our facilities and meet our staff.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
