About the Provider
Welcome to the webpage for Neah-Kah-Nie Preschool. We are located on the same property as the District Office, on 3rd Street in Rockaway Beach. We are able to serve up to 40 students, between our morning and afternoon sessions of preschool. We are currently staffed with one licensed teacher and one instructional assistant in each of our two sessions of preschool. This enables us to maintain a teacher to student ratio of no more than 1:10.
The learning space at Neah-Kah-Nie Preschool is warm, spacious, and engaging. We have a well-equipped classroom that offers our students opportunities to explore, play and develop important social, cognitive, and physical skills. We also have a fenced playground, with developmentally appropriate equipment for young children to enable outdoor play. For those days when outdoor recreation is not an option, we have tricycles and scooters that can be ridden in the breezeway.
