Ms. Nette’s Child Care became licensed in 1992 through the Department of Human Services by the State of Tennessee.
Ms. Nette’s Child Care currently holds a 3-star rating which is the highest allowed by the State of Tennessee. Ms. Nette's completed the Infant/Toddler Credential Pilot program and holds a current CDA in Family Child Care along with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood through Columbia State Community College. Ms. Nette's is a Gold Sneaker Program as well offering children opportunities daily for active physical play.
Ms. Nette’s is an active member of the National Association for Family Child Care and theTennessee Family Child Care Alliance while also being a TOPSTAR Mentor for family child care providers in the Region 6 area (www.tfcca.net). CPR/First Aid certification compiled with numerous training/experience annually allows Ms. Nette’s to remain up-to-date with ALL mandated guidelines from local, state and national levels.
Children are the world’s most valuable resources, therefore Ms. Nette’s works diligently to provide a safe, nurturing, fun and educational environment. Adult-directed and child-directed activities are offered daily while still maintaining a consistent routine to enhance children’s learning skills..i.e. physical, cognitive, and social-emotional.
Children learn at varying rates, therefore Ms. Nette’s accepts the challenge of meeting diverse learning styles and abilities. Providing a developmentally appropriate learning environment for ALL children is Ms. Nette's ultimate goal.
Children will have the opportunity to enhance skills which will prepare them for the next step….kindergarten.
