The Montessori School of Redding follows the Montessori Method of Education. This method stresses individualized learning at the child's pace, independence, and respect for self, others and the environment. The classroom is equipped with Montessori materials, along with a wide variety of other educational equipment. The day is fluid, blending presentations of materials and individual work with small group activities. Music, art and movement are integral parts of our program. Time for outdoor activities to facilitate gross motor and muscle development is a part of our curriculum daily.
