Montessori Explorer celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2012 that coincides with the celebration of the first anniversary of opening its lower elementary program. Montessori Explorer is the first Montessori school to have an elementary program in the South Bay area serving Chula Vista, Bonita, Eastlake, San Diego, National City, Spring Valley, Santee area and Tijuana.
The core principle Montessori Explorer follows is the most central to the Montessori philosophy. That is allowing each child to develop at his or her own individual pace. Through the past ten years Montessori Explorer has produced young competent learner whose abilities have far surpassed the conventional public school education.
