We really loved this daycare when we first enrolled my baby who was a little over a year at the time. She graduated to a toddler room and started to take naps on a cot, and everything was so great at first. Then we got to a point where we were going to take our child out for financial reasons and gave our 2 weeks notice. On the very last morning that I was going to send her back thankfully I noticed some bruising on her leg and it was obviously in the shape of a small adult's fingertips. They had told us so many times how sweet and well behaved she was (She was always great in public). But sometimes she would throw crazy (and I seriously mean crazy) fits for us. When they would start at home I would have to set her on the carpet until she got most of it out so I could calm her down, because the times I had tried to hold her at first I thought I might drop her and she would end up hurt. So I think that the day before I noticed the bruising was the first time they had seen one of her real fits. I called Emily and told her that we would not bring her back for her last day. When she asked me why I was honest with her. I went to pick up her things and brought my baby girl with me. I had waited a few minutes before leaving and was told they would start getting her things ready so I was surprised when Emily seemed shocked to see me and nothing was ready for us. But on the way back I got a call from my sweet baby's father explaining why she was surprised: SHE called the police US. And according to the officer that showed up at our door, she was concerned that our child hadn't shown up yet and worried for her safety. The next day we and our children in school got a visit from CPS. This woman went to some great lengths to cover her own a**, and I don't know it for sure, but I do think she knows who hurt my baby.
