Description: The Parent Child Development Corporation is the grantee agency for the Bridges Head Start Program. Head Start is a federally funded, comprehensive early childhood education program that serves income-eligible preschool children and their families. Services focus on individualized preschool education and school readiness; social and emotional development; dental, physical, and mental health; and nutrition. As Head Start addresses the needs of the whole family, parental involvement is a vital element in the success of the program. Parents are encouraged to participate in a variety of ways, including classroom volunteering, parenting workshops, at-home activities with their children, center committees, training, community events, and special projects.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
