Merryhill Child Care Center, Inc. began as a joint venture of the Fairfield Hills Hospital Management and New England Health Care Union District 1199 to provide quality child care to state employees. When Fairfield Hills Hospital closed its facility, Merryhill was disassociated from the State of Connecticut and became responsible for operating on its own accord. The center is managed by a Board of Directors. Merryhill is a non-profit organization licensed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health Services (#13744). The center and its grounds meet all codes and have been approved and inspected by the State Fire Marshal and the Town Building Inspector.
