Manitou Springs Elementary School is a relationships-based school offering a preK-5 curriculum based on the development of the whole child. Guided by our innovative and experienced instructional staff, our students excel in basic-skills subjects, as evidenced by their strong performance on District 14’s Essential Learning Assessments and by the school’s regular High rankings from the Colorado Department of Education.
The school’s focus, however, extends beyond the knowledge fostered by Rigor to the wisdom engendered in our supportive Relationships and global and service learning projects–and beyond, to the creativity and critical thinking generated by Opportunities to learn through music, art, physical education, technology, performance, and Spanish.
