If there was a "0" rating, this provider would have gotten it! She was all nice e nice to your face. All about teaching the kids to read and responsibility, yeah that's great but children need to be loved and hugged, NOT feel threatened, yelled at, made to sit a the table until they eat ALL their food or their parent shows up. My favorite was potty training. If you child had not gone to the bathroom every 2 hours they would have to sit on the pot till they did. I had an 2 yr old, 5 year old and an 8 yr old. The things my 8 year old would tell me, then when I confronted Kathryn, she would deny it and then later, THREATEN my 8 year old and tell her "what happens at daycare, stays at daycare!" THEN to top it off, to find out that she also would be physical with them. To this date NONE of my children can stand to be touched or grabbed in the back of the neck. Even now, my youngest who is 5 yrs old comments "don't do that, Kathryn would do that to us when she was mad at us!" I still am living with the guilt to this day for ever sending them to this daycare. I did complain to Barb K. but she was of NO assistance cuz' she knew Kathryn, and the kids must just misunderstood her and she would never to anything like that, you know kids imagination. My 8 yr old was never a lier, and once I opened my eyes, I saw the trama/damage done to my kids still to this date. My one and only advice to anyone considering Kathryn. . . KEEP FAR FAR FAR AWAY!!! Especially if your child is a boy, she was xtra mean to boys because they tend to be louder and a little more wild. DEFINATELY can tell she came from a military background! KEEP AWAY!
