We used this daycare for 4-5 years. When my daughter was 9 months old, we started giving her table food at home. This daycare informed us that they would only feed baby food and formula until they turned 1. Not even snacks to help with pincer development. When I would ask questions about the nutrition program, I never got a straight answer as to why they wouldn't, except for "because we are not allowed to". When asking around to other centers and home daycares, they all stated they would feed them table food when ready. My daughter has 8 teeth! Of course she wants table food! I guess they got tired of me asking questions because one morning while I was at work, they sent me a text saying that I needed to come get my kids, now. They would not even let me find somewhere else first. They just kicked them out because I continued to inquire about my childs nutrition and development. What would they have done if we were not able to leave work to come get them? Thankfully, my mother in law was able to get them for us. How do you just kick someone out that you called "family" for YEARS?! That's what I get for trying to make sure my child got what she needed developmentally.
