This place is generally good. There is inter generational programming here with grandfriends. However, more than not the children have to go where the seniors are at.

The gross motor room is nice besides for two facts. One fact is that the room is smaller than it was previously due to a wall being added to one side to make a separate room. The second fact is that the gross motor room isn't always open to the children of the child care center.

The 4/5 year olds are not monitored at all times...The teacher lets individual children leave the room she's in to go to the bathroom alone or get something from the room. Also the teacher has left the room when in the care of children. This teacher is very creative with ideas and does have people skills.

The two year olds split a napping area with the four/five year olds. The regular four/five year old room does not accommodate as a sleeping room due to the fact that it does not have two emergency exit doors.

The two year old room isn't really a room but a space due to the fact that it doesn't have four sided walls and or two doors.

The health information/allergies list is not hidden in many of the rooms.

The infant room(s) staff sure do know how to organize and store items even with the lack of storage closet space. The only complaints there is how they store their disinfectant spray and bleach wipes within reach of those children.

The infant room's lighting seems to be so much darker now that the emergency lights went out (August 11th)
The one year old room has a cracked off corner on their counter. The one year old room has a non-age appropriate toy shelving unit (school aged).
Plugs are not covered with plug covers in hallway next to three and four/five year old rooms.

Early childhood staff are friendly, caring, and supportive to all those that they come into contact with even though the child care center NEEDS updates AND renovations!

Unprofessional!!! From the first time I walked in the door I was turned away. I was told to call the director for a tour. Well I called her and she never called me back. I waited a few weeks just in case she was on vacation. I followed up with another voicemail. It's been 3 mobrush. I never heard from this daycare. I assume not many minorities are allowed at this center. I work for the State and reported them. There is NO excuse not to return a parent's phone call.
