Description: The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps low-income families to pay for child care while working or attending school or training.
Monthly payments are based on the number of hours the parents work or attend school or training, as well as the amount charged by the child care provider, family size and household income. Parents can select any Class A child care center, school-based before and after school program, licensed child care center determined by the Department of Defense, registered Family Child Day Care Home, or In-Home provider that is active in the CCAP provider directory.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

My daughter started here in November 2017 at the age of three. She was initially placed in the two year old classroom and things were going great( I thought, never received any negative feedback). She was moved into the 3 year old classroom a couple of months later. Things seemed to go fine but my daughter cried every day wanting to go back to the old classroom with the other teacher. Over the course of 2 weeks I was called twice to pick her up within 30 minutes of dropping her off due to her behavior. On her final day at the daycare, I was sent a video that "demonstrated" how "out of control" she was. In the video, you can see my child throwing a fit and laying on the floor and crying. You then see a teacher tell my daughter repeatedly to get up and sit in the chair. My daughter continued to cry and say "no" while the teacher continued to lean over her and tell her to get up and sit in the chair, over 10 times. What I don't understand is why a childcare provider would continue to antagonize a child when they are clearly upset. Instead of telling her to get up and sit in the chair multiple times, that clearly caused the situation to escalate, had they just left her alone she would have calmed down and then they could redirect her behavior. I don't think these teachers have any proper training to handle de-escalations and redirecting children properly. If you cannot handle a 3 year old throwing a temper tantrum I do not know why you would choose to work with children.
Living way daycare is absolutely the best daycare ever. My son had been at home with me a stay at home mom before I returned to work. They treated him like one of there own children. I made the best choice to place him in their care everyday. He learned so much, grew in many ways. The teacher's love those kids. If your child ever has to go to daycare please let this be the place you take your child. I never worried about the well being of his safety and to a parent that is very important. I would never send my child anywhere but there. HEATHER CURRY is an amazing director. They deserve nothing but praise along with a 5 star rating. Our family loves Living Way Childcare.
I absolutely love living way child development center. 3 years ago an amazing thing happened in my life. God blessed me with an amazing daughter who because of this daycare facility has had the chance to excell and grow ahead of normal range for her age. The teachers and staff are great. They treat my baby as if she was their own and I work everyday knowing that she is loved and cared for with piece of mind this not only helps my baby but me .They have a routine and daily assignments for each age group in the facility. In addition to routines and daily assignments they have visited such places as Curry Farms, Bayou Bowl ,field trips to the park just to name a few. Amazing daycare my baby looks forward to going to school everyday and loves her teachers.
We love it there and it feels like family to us. The living way staff work hard and they take good care of my girls. They are constantly trying to improve their programs and care. We've been there for over 3 years now and my girls are super excited anytime to go to "school".
Had a terrible experience with this daycare. Janice, the director, has a terrible attitude and her husband who runs the finances is just as bad as her. I have seen what goes on behind the scenes. I was overcharged several times on bill statements and brought it to their attention and they would blow it off and say they would discuss it later then they would play stupid and would not take the balance off of my account. I have heard Janice speak ugly about some of the children. This is just a piece of the pie! Alot went on at that daycare and I pulled my child out immediately.
Not only did this provider allow one of their employees to abuse my daugheter, leaving numerous bruises on her, but when they were told about it they did not aknolwedge that the bruises were caused by their employee but they also told me that she has a medical condition that causes her to bruise easy. This is not the case it takes quite a bit for her to be hurt like this. Also the day i pulled her out of the daycare she had a black eye. We pulled her out and attempted to get her paperwork the provider told me that it was all my fault that this happeend..... REALLY? also they were to provide the state with a zero balance form and they failed to do so. two months later they still have yet to provide that documentation. Finally today the provider called the state with a statement that we had a zero balance. On numerous occasions this provider cooked the books trying to make me pay triple the amount that i should have been paying each time i cought him he apologised and fixed the error the next month the same error was made and a new one as well.
