CreekStone Academy at Little Tikes - Duluth GA Child Care Learning Center

Any positive reviews of this place are written by people pretending to be parents that are attached to the con artist owners. This place should not be open and should be shut down. If you look on the bright from the start website this center has a history of severe violations. I was briefly employed there last year and saw immediately how horrible and dangerous this place was and I just didn't come back. The things that are done here are disgusting the staff is treated horrible they're not paid correctly they're told to lie to parents, there are tons and tons of violations that they cover up and reports wriiten by the state, they have lost children, they have had children that were crushed by playground equipment who was hospitalized and it was not reported immediately, they had a director who was fined for repeated violations, they had a teacher who had dangerous stuff in her purse for a child to grab, they were cited for having 29 students in a room made for 20 they were cited for children wandering between the elementary school and the daycare center alone this is not my opinion this is all written in hard evidence reports from the state for the public to access. how much more does this school have to do before its shut down? The latest incident that happened involved them taking it upon their self to rip out beads from a child's hair because they were too lazy to stop another child from grabbing this little girl's hair and trying to eat the beads. When the parents became upset they threw the parents out and disenrolled them. I don't even know these parents, or the child I was not employed there when this specific child was there but I know how the owner talks about parents. I know how they make fun of parents, I know how they cover up the things that are done at that center from parents and when I attempted to make a report through the state a year ago, I was ignored or I believe the state just called the center due to my complaints and nothing happened because Yvette Drake covers up for her awful son who got this center for free just to make money. This Center has a horrible reputation and there's a whole blog online written about how bad it is and that was started in 2016. The claim was made that nobody knows who I am and that they don't have a record of me working there, the reason for that is because they were working me before they had my background clearance from the state so there is no record of me working there. I'm not going to stop until this place is shut down because everything they're doing there is illegal and they want to lie and create all these fake reviews on sites to try and counteract people telling the truth. Every employee there was miserable even ones that had been there for 10 years. They hated it there. Every single day parents were complaining about stuff so there is nobody that's happy that's associated with that Center and if they say there is they're lying. In A matter of 3 months they fired six staff members for no reason and laughed about it. They were fired because these staff members were realizing something was wrong with this Center and started trying to make changes and they were immediately dismissed including the pregnant director who was mistreated horribly and over worked daily and talked bad about behind her back, they had an assistant director who was redoing their crappy classrooms, who started fun programs for the kids and she was fired after entering in the correct hours for employees so they could get paid correctly. A sweet teacher in 2-year-old room that was amazing and better than any teacher there and really cared for the kids was fired because they thought she was too fat and moved too slow. They fired another assistant director because her and her family got covid because that Center was not following covid procedures, that's how she even caught it. They were annoyed about how many days she was missing. I could write another six pages about the things that go on there. This place needs to be immediately shut down. Marcus the owner should make a career change and go sell hardwood floors or something because working with kids is not for him.

My daughter baileigh has attended CreekStone Academy Duluth since August of 2021 . She's always had beads on her hair. March 24th I picked my child up with absolutely no beads in her hair. The school told me they removed my daughters beads because they were not able to keep another student from pulling them off. I made no fuss, I simply took my daughter home & put her beads on tighter because again, she loves them & no one should be able to take that joy from her. Fast forward march 28th I came to pick up my daughter to her beads removed yet again however this time her braids were ripped from her scalp. Once I made a complaint of my daughters beads being snatched the Director of this facility told me that all she would do was contact the child's parent. Days later after leaving a review on how we felt the situation was handled, my children were put out of the daycare. My children are not taught to fight nor do they practice self defense because I teach them to play together & LOVE This has brought me so much pain & confusion. They won't show me any video footage of my child while she was in their care & I know she cried as her hair was pulled from her scalp. I was told several lies about my childs beads being against policy & even threatened for the police to be called all for wanting answers concerning my child. their administrative team shows no compassion or concern for the well being of children.

These parents on the review of this place just don’t know everything that went on here. The director Aldina and the inherited owner Marcus has been telling their employees not to tell parents what really goes on at the daycare! Also teachers that are suppose to be accredited aren’t, that is why I call it a daycare not school. Just a month ago two children was instructed by another child to kiss, the teacher found out by another child. The teacher told the director Aldina, she told that teacher (whom is my daughter) not to tell the parents. The parents still don’t know to this day. Also the mistreatment, rude m, unethical, unprofessional behavior of the director(she hasn’t been there even a month) Which a teacher has recorded her twice! Told the teachers that they can’t discuss pay or they will be fired which my child was fired for today. The director doesn’t even know federal laws nor do they even have them posted in the daycare. She also has argued and gotten loud with a parent, staff and the owner(whom I believe at this point doesn’t own a pair of balls!) excuse my language! She has told the teachers that she will drop their pay to $7.25 if they quit meaning their last pay check will be based on a $7.25 pay not their normal pay. If you want to hear the recordings please let me know. They pay the teachers whatever they want and they don’t pay for their over time. Also they purposely pay with regular pay checks from the bank not actual pay stubs nor any taxes are taken out. They will write a check for $560.44 for example but no real taxes are taken out. Also if your child has any type of disability don’t sent them here because they don’t tell the teachers and they aren’t trained at all to handle them as they are needed. There is a lot more! Don’t send your children here nor work here! I had to contact my people the Department of Labor. At this point something has to be done for the current employees plus innocent children under the care of a tyrant. All conversations with this tyrant director has been recorded. Also in that recording if your a recent teacher that quit, she was talking negativity about you. The after school teacher Abby is not to be trusted. They literally talked bad about my daughter all day today this how professional this place is.

I really love this center and the children are really cared for and the staff is excellent. These people on here who complained about pools and videos, very petty, when the main and important point is that the staff are great with the kids and educated and professional. I like the fact most of the teachers are older and have more experience. One center my child attended had only teenage staff, with no experience. I recommend this center and like everyone else, think anyone who went to tour it would think it was excellent too.

I disagree strongly with the two unfortunate negative comments. Little Tikes is one of the best places I have ever seen for kids. I think that only the very few upset parents must take the time to comment because the pleased parents like myself FAR outweigh the unhappy ones! the Teachers are amazing, caring, helpful and full of knowledge. My kids LOVe Little Tikes Academy as do my wife and I. The front desk staff is also very professional and helpful. Please go tour for yourself!

I disagree with the unfortunate comments above. my children, my grandchildren, most of my neighbors, co-workers and friends attend Little Tikes and have had nothing but excellent experiences there. The teachers are great and have been there for generations and the front desk staff is wonderful and we could not say anything but positives. visit and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

This place is horrible...upon taking my child there for the first time, a little boy opened the door for me, there was no attendent at the front desk and a lady did walk by, she didn't even acknowledge me or my 6yr old child. I was in a bind so had no choice but to let my child stay there for the day. The place was a mess and very unkempt looking....They advertise that they have a pool, but when I went back to take a look.... YES, they do have a pool that is slimy with brown water & disgusting! Here we are at "camp" and the kids can't even go in the pool??? As " It needed to be serviced" I called to check on my child 3 times but couldn't get through as the phone was not being pick up, when I finally did get through I asked how her day was going? The lady said, let me check, so I here her put the phone down and start talking to someone about "hair color" then gets back on the phone and she says...." oh she's just fine" I COULDN'T WAIT FOR THE DAY TO BE OVER TO JUST GO GET MY CHILD. When I got there at the end of the day to pick my child up, they told me to "just look around, she's got to be in one of the classes" needless to say... my child will never go there again! I'll just bring my child to work with me before I would ever take her there.

This place was a nightmare. The teacher she had directly after school, was great. But once that teacher went home, the people they had watching the kids were awful. 4 days out of 5 my child was watching TV when I came to pick her up. On several different occasions they were watching shows that were not appropriate for young children. They told me it wouldn't happen again. It did. Many times. My daughter tried telling one of the teachers she wasn't allowed to watch the show they were watching & I witnessed the teacher tell her to be quiet and watch tv. The person watching the kids was often playing on her cell phone while children were running around screaming, tripping each other, etc. Sure some of the teachers are nice, but its an very unsafe environment. The final straw was when I went to pick up my child & they didn't know where she was. The teacher thought that she was across the hall, she wasn’t. I asked the teacher again and her response was "Oh gosh, they didn't get left outside did they?" It was dark outside, & I was freaked out that she would even consider that a possibility. My daughter was in another classroom, but a child shouldn't be unaccounted for. Ever.
