I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Where do I begin?! This place is absolutely awful! A few weeks ago I came in to drop my infant off and Diana (the most amazing women) was left there with 7 kids alone. Ratios at this center are 1:5, this is not the first time this has been an issue. I literally had to go out into the hall and request they send someone to help. I then filed a complaint with the license board. The investigation was help on a Monday morning where I found out Amir had lied and said he was in there. On top of it all, all I was given was an email, not one member of the staff said a word to me. Super unprofessional. I did confront Amir the morning after I got the letter and asked him why he lied and all he said was “I was on my way to the room”. I than grabbed my children’s stuff and never looked back.

Fast forward to the evening when I got home, I received a termination letter effective the following day stating I was terminated for “lack of trust between parent and center and disrespect toward staff” I absolutely do not trust this facility. If they are willing to lie about something that I saw and addressed with them to their face, what are they hiding behind the parents back?!

As for the disrespect, apparently is disrespectful to advocated for your children at this facility. I have challenged their policies, such as biting and sick policies and anytime I did they told me to find a new center. My doctors provided notes stating they could come back to daycare and they denied them coming back several times. They pick and choose who they let get away with what. If you voice your opinion, even in a civil manner, it’s a problem.

I actually contacted Early Head Start to let them know about the ratio issues and concerns about the mistreatment of the staff. I was informed they were going to do more Investigations into this as well. So I hope something comes from it.

The turnover of staff here is ridiculous! During the duration of my daughter’s time there. There was 3-4 teachers who quit in the infant room and probably close to 4-5 in the toddler room. In fact the week before they terminated me, both teacher quit the same week in the toddler B room that my daughter was in.

The ONLY good thing that I can say about that place is their infant teacher
Diana is absolutely amazing! She loves the children like her own but I guarantee it won’t be long before she leaves. The way they treat their staff is awful. They do not give them the support they deserve. When Diana was out sick or on vacation I would keep my daughter home because the other women in her class couldn’t even get her to take a bottle. The fact that I had to keep my daughter home because I didn’t trust the staff when Diana wasn’t there, is a huge red flag.

Mona (the owner) just had a baby. Maybe this place will turn around when HER child is apart of that. Finally she will be able to understand where all my frustration came from at this place.

I’m sure there will be a response posted stating none of this was true, as I have read in the other reviews. Ultimately, I my this was a blessing in disguise being terminated because it pushed me to find another great center. I really hope there is an investigation in this center because I’m afraid there are a lot more things wrong than just this.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would... my husband and I were fairly new to the area when we found Little Boots. It was our first time putting our son in daycare (he is 1) at first I was a little hesitant and I wish I would’ve trusted my gut. From when we first did the tour, the staff seemed a little rude but I didn’t think much of it.
My son was at this daycare for a total of 3 months and it was terrible. My first biggest issue here was how rude the staff can be. In my opinion, they don’t really care to say hi or even smile or be polite until you have an issue with them. Then, I feel is that they will go out of their way to be extra nice. After a couple of weeks of my son attending he was always coming home dirty. Dirty hands, dry booger’s! No one could take the time to clean him up, ever. Then within the first week of him being here there was an outbreak of hands, foot, & mouth! It was terrible. All they had was a sign in the front but none of the teachers seemed to care. My son ended up missing a couple of days because he obviously got sick from this. And let me tell you, we would always pay at the beginning of the week. My son got sick at the daycare and they were not wanting to roll over the days I paid for for the following week. When it’s the daycares fault that he got sick. I called serval times and spoke to Tiffany and her response was that it was in the contract that they were unable to do that. I looked through my contract and no where did it say that. Tiffany told me she’d call me back and she’d find “something similar that said that” these ppl are very unorganized and will try to scam you out of your money. They charge you for holidays even when your kids will not be attending daycare! Ridiculous.
My son was in between classes all the time. No one ever knew what class he was in when it was time to pick him up. When I’d drop him off he’d be with a different teacher. The one good thing I could say about this place is that Mindy the “12-24” months teacher is amazing. She is the only one I felt comfortable with and also Teresa. Mindy is a genuine good hearted person and I could tell she really cared about my son. However SHANITA the 24-36 months teacher was the worst. She is a huge part of why i took my son out of there. I don’t know if she is really stupid or she just acts dumb and treats kids unfair because she simply does not care. Parents do not trust her with your kids! The day before thanksgiving I went to pick up my son and she was with all the smaller kiddos and there were quite a few kids with runny noses and she was just sitting there passing out cookies in a rude manner. There was a small little girl who was spilling crumbs and shanita was mad and told her why are you making such a mess. She didn’t see that I was standing at the window and I could see. Idc if it’s the end of the day or if she’s tired you are suppose to be patient and loving with these kids! Also, there was one time I picked up my son from her and when I got there his pants were wet. I asked her why, and her response was that he woke up like that about an hour ago. I said umm well you know that he has extra clothes her. And she said well do you want me to change him? I was just shocked and disgusted with her. How is she even still here? I was told by certain staff that there are many complaints about her. This is not all, towards the last month that my son was here there was an incident where he fell and bit his lip. When I saw him at the end of the day his lip was bruised and extremely swollen. As a parent you automatically assume the worst and all I got was a little incident report. This happened at 10am and nobody thought to call
My husband or myself. All I kept thinking was what if he would’ve needed stitches because the severity of his cut was bad! That’s when I finally called Mona and was ready to pull him out. She wanted me to give them another chance and admitted to it being a mistake that they didn’t call and should have. There are many things I didn’t like about this place and I regret ever leaving my son here. I would much rather be a stay at home mom and sacrifice a little bit more then leave my son here. He will be 2 soon and Shanita was suppose to be his new teacher. I was never going to let that happen. Parents do not trust this woman. This entire daycare center is very unorganized and the staff does not care about anything besides their $. The only ppl that are great here are Mindy and Teresa. If Mindy had her own daycare I’d go to her. Other than that, take your business elsewhere!

Horrible daycare. They Don't care about your kids! My son had his diaper taped on his skin and the owner didn't care at all. After going back to my review on Google I have seen things have become worse with the POS "teacher" Ivy (thank God I removed my kids from this hell hole) because now she's being physical with the kids. Don't take your kids here. The same family owns rising stars early learning center and based off of those reviews you can see the same pattern, except with sexual assault towards the kids. These ppl are seriously monsters and don't care about kids, it's all about the money.
