Both my kids have attended LRS since they were 6 weeks old. I am very pleased with our experience here!
Teachers are incredibly kind and patient with the kids. My girls love their experience and come home excited to share what they learned each day! One of my favorite things is that the teachers expose my kids to different cultures and holidays celebrated all over the world. They often ask parents for input to include our own family traditions into what the class explores. The director asks for and takes feedback from parents. Whenever we've had concerns, we set up a meeting or call and the director and teachers spent as much time as needed with us. (As a parent, I understand that these meetings need to be scheduled at a time when the teachers aren't with their classes, maybe a minor inconvenience for me, but I'd rather have the teachers' full attention on the kids during the day.)
LRS also places importance on good nutrition and has a varied and nutritious menu that includes vegetables with each lunch, something I didn't see at other daycares.
Finally, my daughters were passing developmental milestones earlier than expected and my 4yo has all the skills necessary already to be prepared for kindergarten a year early! So thankful for Little Rising Stars.
I would like to share my personal experience about this daycare. My two year old toddler attended this daycare for first time and it was a very bad experience over all. At the beginning the owner seems professional but as the days go by I was surprised from the owner of this daycare of how unprofessional she behaves. My two year old suffered from swallon lip, and swelling eye, which they did not mention it on the daily report. As I tried to call her regarding this, she said she has no idea about this. My child started feeling ill and had to go on antibiotics.
As a mother it's my right to call and ask about how my child doing but the owner became frustrated about the calls and started complaining about how she's too busy and has too many other children to take care of. So because of these situations I decided stop sending my child to this daycare only because of the owner's behaviour and unprofessional attitude. To me it seems she is only concerned about making money.
I would NEVER recommend this daycare to anyone. This daycare does not even deserve a single star.
