Do not recommend unless your child is seasoned for daycare. They kicked my 16 month old again just turned one, toddler out after three weeks. They stated she was doing great every day. Her dad got a call last Wednesday that she was biting excessively and she got sent home. The teacher told us to look for a new daycare as they were going to kick her out. Trying to give us a heads up. I asked her to tell the owner I wanted to discuss the matter. To set up a time Friday to talk about what’s going on. The biting to discuss what we can do about it. I wanted to see what was going on with her as I’ve been told nothing but good things. I also wanted to discuss ways to work on whatever she is doing at home. Now the few times they did tell me she did something, a she is still transitioning came after, so I didn’t think it was a problem. They did not allow formula so we were forced to wean her from the bottle. It was time so that wasn’t the issue. So she had this going on on top of being stripped away from family. They did not come to me as a worried teacher or like they were worried at all about her behavior. She did not call me as I had asked to discuss the write ups. She instead met me at the door at pick up on Thursday to tell me that my 1 year old 18lbs child is a danger to all of the children in the facility. Mind you she did this in the front in front of everyone. She did not have proper write ups to justify any of the behavior she said my child was exhibiting. She stated she had all of these incident reports but could not provide any until the next afternoon. I asked that Friday morning and was told by another teacher the only incident reports were the two given Wednesday and she physically showed me her folder. Low and behold nothing in it. Well they made sure to show my husband the same folder that afternoon but this time it was full of incident reports. It took three days for them to provide the incident reports. I only signed two from the day before they kicked her out so they failed to let me know what was going on with my child. If she was biting I should have been told way before now and we could have sat down and set up a plan at home. But instead they kicked her out no questions asked. Not once did they try to discuss anything with me like it was a problem. They did not care to help my child. I said so you just don’t want to deal with her she said yes and then went on to try and justify it. They called her a liability and sent us packing. If she is a danger to all of the kids in the facility why were we given an extra week to find a new daycare. They do not properly document stuff so I have no idea what really went down while my child was in their care. How they told me about my child they had no care or worry for her. They said she is a danger to the other children in the facility my 18lbs 1 year old and a liability. Then it went to if she gets hurt the day care will be liable. So what is it her hurting herself or her biting? Apparently my 16 month old hits her head to much for them too. For them to talk ab a 16 month old like that really got to me. I don’t think they are equipped for new children. I also do not think they have enough staff and this is what really caused this. The lack of care for my child was sad. I did not let her continue the next week as her best interest was not at heart and I don’t feel confident that they will tell the truth. I’m worried something did happen and instead of telling me the truth they kicked her out. I feel this is why they kept bringing up their insurance. She is a child not an insurance claim. Also I’m worried she would have gotten treated badly if she went the next week. They sugar coat everything. If your child has never been to daycare do not take them here. They do not have cameras you can see and they do not have documentation for everything as they should. I’m sure I will get a reply to my review you just watch. Bad daycare I would give them a negative star if I could.
Found out an employee here was using illegal drugs from her social media. My toddler has gone here for almost 6 months and I was horrified when I heard this from another parent. When I called to the owner to complain, she just proceeded to tell me that her employees are drug tested at random & frequently. All a big cover up. I talked to employees that used to work here, Every girl says that they were drug tested once or not at all. The daycare was clean and well ran, but I cannot dismiss the fact of illegal drug use happening with the same people I am leaving my baby with for 6 hours a day.
My daughter has been at this daycare for over a year. She started in Ms. Clara and Ms. Angie class and I absolutely love the time and care that they give the children. My baby has learned so much while at this daycare and I am amazed at her growth. My daughter has since moved up to Ms. Brooke and Amber's class and she has grown to care for them as well but I will admit Clara and Angie is her favorite. I do feel as if the teachers could communicate more with the parents about our Childs day and what they are working on learning but overall I love this daycare and the love they give my child. In the mornings my child is either dropped off to Cheyenne or Angie and the patience they have with my child is amazing, she is still has issues leaving her momma and throws fits because she does not want to stay without me. I want to thank all the workers there for loving our children when we can not be there to give them the love they need.
This facility is not like many others, they actually have curriculum that prepares the child for kindergarten. The teachers are great they have informed me every single time my daughter has fell and scraped her knee or has had a headache. They also notify all the parents by placing a sign on doors as well as throughout The building if there is a case of strep or head lice or any illness. I
This is the ABSOLUTE best childcare facility that I have found around saline county, My son has learned so much all of the teacher are amazing and so kind. They are also very informative. I have never had a bad experience
I've had a good overall experience with this facility for the most part. The only complaints I have is that there is no communication with the parents. My daughter has come home with bruises on her face and I never received any kind of incident report for any of the times this had happened. I am never told anything about her daily activities unless I ask and today I saw a flyer on the door about a break out of head lice and the flu in the facility. I feel this is something the parents should receive phone calls about instead of trusting that the parents will see the flyers. My daughter also has come home from daycare with a diaper rash every day. I had to keep her home for a week because her diaper rash had gotten so bad that it had scabbed and I knew that sending her to the daycare would only make it worse because they wouldn't have properly taken care of it. After letting the diaper rash completely heal for a solid week, I sent her back to the facility the following Monday only for her to come home that day with another diaper rash.
