Hi to everyone who reads this review. I am not a parent or an employee of the child care facility. I came in to Little Learner's to apply for a child care job. The daycare was really clean, organized and a very nice set-up for kids. It was a little small for a daycare but was very nice. The only problem I had was with the owner Becky when I talked to her about a job. She was very friendly, nice to talk with and helpful with information about being a child care assistant. We talked for awhile and I felt comfortable talking with her even though it was an interview for a job. The problems I ran into with her was I applied for a summer job with the possibility of a permanent job in child care after summer. I mentioned to her several times that I wanted to start in the summer working with the school age kids only. I have been a stay-at-home mom for many years and I wanted to start out slow because of that. I thought she completely understood that but wasn't sure. She overwhelmed me with information about being a child care assistant with the babies in the fall. She also gave me mixed signals about hiring me for summer. So because of that I wasn't sure if she wanted to hire me or not. She should not have given me mixed signals. That completely threw me off. So I went home and thought about the summer job and everything Becky and I talked about. I called her the very next day and she said she had to talk to her husband about hiring me. I was even more confused and upset completely because we had gotten to know each other and talked for awhile in general. I thought she liked me but I was wrong obviously. Also, I felt like I wasted my time with someone who didn't want to hire me at all; who wasn't sincere, nice and put on a false front. I don't know why she took so much time to talk to me if she didn't want to hire me. She just wanted to find out information about me to rule out hiring me and find out the bad points about me. I'm not sure what happened from the day I talked with her in the daycare until the next day. But for some reason she was avoiding me and was not honest with me at least. I tried to call her a few times after that to talk with her; one time she was gone for a dentist appointment and then she never called me back still. What kind of a person talks to an applicant, gets to know them and doesn't want to hire them after she gets to know them? I have never had an interview with an employer that has done that. It is mistrusting, misleading, discouraging and disappointing. I really thought Becky was a nice person but after this situation happened and she avoided talking to me after that, I have a really bad opinion about her. So to all the applicants thinking about getting a job here, be on guard! Becky seems nice at first but gives you a false impression; (at least with me she did and I think she has probably done this with other people if she did with me). Just be careful and don't get false hope of getting a job here and that goes for most all the jobs in great falls. For me this was the most misleading and mistrusting job since I have been interviewing for jobs in great falls. But in general, peoples' attitudes and companies in great falls make it very difficult and impossible for people to get jobs. I have been looking for a long time and still have not found a job yet. And I have many years of child care experience. It took my daughter 8 months, almost a year to find her job in great falls. I hope this information has been helpful for everyone looking for a job in general. Be on guard for peoples' attitudes in job interviews and trying to find fault with applicants to be picky about hiring. Be ready for everything and handle the interview(s) the best you can. Also be aware that it will take awhile to find a job in Great Falls because of all these problems. I am really sorry I live in this area because of how jobs and companies make it hard to find a job.
I have three children that attend this pre school. My oldest is leaving the PK room for kindergarten this year. The teacher Ms. Kaylee is one of the best teachers. (I hope my other two children get her!) I have a child in the two year old room Ms. Kim class. She does great things with the kids. They are always doing projects and crafts. They learned about Butterflies last month. She even bought Butterflies and the kids got to watch the hatch from the cocoons. There was an issue with biting but I thing some kids just go through that phase. My third child will be heading into Ms. Kims class here in a couple months. I can't wait he will have a blast! If I have ever had an issue I went straight to the bosses and they were right on it and had it resolved. Go check the place out!
I only gave this place a 4 star because I believe every place has room for improvement. I have two children in this center. We have been using them for about a year now. One child in the PK program. The teacher is amazing!! She is great with the children and even does yoga with them! My other little one is 6 months. My children are happy when they go their and I have never had any trouble with the staff. Any questions I have are answered immediately. My children have been to one other childcare in this town. My children would cry when I dropped them off there. My baby has cried twice since going to little Learners and that was the first two days. Neve has cried since. Love this place and the caring staff.
My children went here for a daycare - needless to say I was not impressed with the staff at all and now we use another provider. There were times I’d bring diapers in, and would have to go find someone after being in the daycare for 20+ minutes. No one paid attention to the door ding. I would come to get my children, one who was under the age of 2 at the time and find him alone of the stairs unsupervised. Now, little learners is refusing to provide their EIN - or the 1099 form stating how much was paid into their daycare. I have never dealt with such a disgusting facility before, and will never ever use them again nor would I ever refer them to anyone either.
