About the Provider

Description: A well rounded program is offered to meet the needs of the children in care. This can adjust at times with ages, special needs, etc. Children learn through play and we model a curriculum around this. Many learning opportunities will be provided throughout the daily schedule; self-help skills, role-modelling, reading and literacy, social emotional, fine & gross motor, cognitive skills and more. I do provide a preschool curriculum throughout the school year. We have outside time daily if weather permits. I participate in the food program and align with their meal plans offering healthy well-balanced meals and snacks. The children have a quiet time in the afternoon (infants as needed). They aren't required to sleep but must have a quiet time. School aged are offered quiet activities. I am partnered with Head Start and the library visits once a month.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

This is a very sad excuse of a daycare center. The “owner” Lisa never actually bonded with my child and it obvious as when she was actually in attendance at the daycare my child was never happy when Lisa was working as they clearly after 3 months still didn’t know her. (Which how do you when the person isn’t there) The support staff however, clearly did well at making my child feel as if they were safe they were always in good spirits when I would pick them up and clearly had MUCH different bonds with them. Lisa was questioned by the state on report that was NOT made by myself or my partner (made by our GAL) she gave her notice to end care. 1st off Lisa didn’t end care because she never cared for my child, more then maybe a week total in the whole 3 months my child attended. When I was worried about dropping my child off at 8:15 and her being over numbers she said what’s 10 minutes it’s not a big deal but then made it look like that my partner and I said that lol. The sad part for Lisa is that our child is foster kid that we are working toward adopting so we reported EVERYTHING to our social worker on every instance we felt was not okay or that we needed clarity on. Like when I went to drop off clothes and my child was still in a car seat, or a picture that was sent to me to show my child’s eye and my child was literally laying on her bare hardwood floor. (My child was 3 months and also born 1 month premature) yes my child was sick afterward. My child also got pink eye due to not being told by Lisa that two children went home the previous week with it.

This establishment could be great if not managed (if that’s what you want to call it) by Lisa. It WILL be a matter of time before she loses her license. I suggest people who are thinking of using this daycare look into it more online their are now two reports that the state made within the last month about her being over ratio as well as having unregistered children and acting as if she had no clue.

We didn’t even have our child attend the next two weeks because it’s clear she would take her frustrations with not being in compliance out on our children as she assumed it was a resort made by my family. Beyond lucky my child doesn’t attend that daycare anymore.
