About the Provider
Leila Day Nurseries, Inc., a nationally accredited early childhood education program, offers a stimulating and creative environment for young children to grow and learn. Founded in 1878, it is the nation's second oldest continuously operating child care center with a long-standing commitment to enroll children of working families from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. It has been recognized as a model for quality child care by the Connecticut State Department of Education.
