All staff will participate in a training led by Via's Clinical Director. This opportunity will allow staff to further understand their role as mandated reporters through an in depth discussion of the law and scenario creations. Staff will gain insight to appropriate interactions with children. Staff will also be required to sign an acknowledgement statement of attendance. Moving forward, all new staff will be required to acknowledge the information on the first day of employment.
