Findings: * Upon arrival to the facility Surveyor 1 observed 14 children in the middle classroom with 1 staff member. The youngest child was a 1 year-old. The correct ratio is 1:6 or 2:13. * Based on staff interviews, Staff 2 stated that she was standing in between two classrooms "supervising" her classroom and the other classroom while the other staff member went to the kitchen to prepare snack.

Findings: * Upon entering the facility, Surveyor 1 observed only two staff in the facility in their assigned classrooms. Surveyor 1 observed snack sitting on a table in the middle classroom. Surveyor 1 asked who prepared the snack. Staff 1 stated that she went into the kitchen to prepare the snack while the staff in the other classroom was "supervising" the children in both classrooms while standing in between the door that adjoins both classrooms. According to Staff 2, while she was standing in the doorway, the one-year-old child walked into the middle classroom with the older children and was sitting in the classroom among the other children. Neither Staff 1 or 2 were able to retrieve personnel files for the Surveyors.

This is the greatest daycare I have ever encountered. My daughter comes home every day excited about going back the next. The staff is wonderful and caring for all the children. They truely help with the development of the kids with sign language, song, dance, and love.
