I have used this provider for less than 6 months
My experience at Lancaster Christian academy has been by far the worst in every way imaginable. I put my 3 month old son in this daycare in September and around this time I already started having issues with the caretaker who viciously shook my baby in his bouncer that I luckily caught on video and screen recorded it. Any mom would’ve lost their head about that and I kept my cool and talked to the staff who then said the director would reach out to me about it via phone call. When I received this call I was expecting for it to be taken care of properly. I wanted to feel good about my child being in this daycare; that he would be cared for properly & safe. I wanted to know why this happened and If the director April would take proper measures. Which by the way she did not. She gave me the run around on the phone saying that the bouncer was “soft” that the caretaker has been there for years and is always singing church songs. Like ok? That doesn’t excuse the fact that my baby was shook in his bouncer really hard and could’ve gotten baby shaken syndrome. I should’ve reported the incident to DHS as soon as it happened. No worries though I did report it recently. In the moment I thought ok maybe it was just that lady that shouldn’t be around babies because everyone else seemed nice. However, post incident the caretakers including the front staff started treating me differently like I did something wrong by watching my baby on the camera that I pay extra money every week to watch my baby in case incidents like this occur and reporting something very wrong that I saw. The caretakers were very rude to me every time they saw me all the way up until recently except for maybe one that was very kind to me and my son. Which is far from the point because talking to me badly is one thing but being a horrible caretaker to innocent babies is another. They hired the most lazy baby caretakers ever, they literally just leave the babies in their crib and sit down on their phones and don’t even interact with them. They don’t enjoy being there nor do they like their job and they certainly don’t have the patience, love, and kindness that these babies deserve. I work from home so I had the opportunity to watch my baby on the camera and saw that even when they didn’t have their hands full and had maybe 2 babies they still let my baby cry it out even though I specifically stated about a million times that it is not my parenting style. They don’t respect your wishes and made me feel like my opinion and methods didn’t matter and like my child was problematic. God forbid that my baby cried because that’s what’s babies do?? All children all different with unique needs and my baby just required more attention than others. The lady that’s always there in the morning went as far as calling my child rotten. That’s so rude and disrespectful and no mother should ever feel that way. I’m writing bad reviews on this daycare any place I can to prevent any parent from experiencing what baby and I went through here. This daycare is far from Christian. If you’re thinking about enrolling your infant here, look elsewhere. You have been warned. Just read the reviews old staff members wrote about this place who worked here! On indeed & Glassdoor. Look into it parents. This daycare needs to do better with hiring caretakers who actually care about children and love what they do. Do better.
Quite honestly the shadiest and poorest experience of a daycare I have ever witnessed, none the less, from a “ Christian “ daycare. The owner is a complete idiot and we withdraw our child IMMEDIATELY within being there a few weeks ... left her dirty and poop all over here god this was such a horrible experience. I pray for any one child there.
