Description: La Petite Chaperone Academic Preschool offers a professionally designed, thematic curriculum; complete with lesson plans, assessments, progress reports, portfolios and newsletters for parents to use as a guide. We have incorporated the Riggio Emilia approach to learning.
Students learn through hands on play and structured activities in our well organized learning centers. Our classroom is organized into "teaching environments." These are the places within our classroom where the students can find the materials related by theme, interest, and skills. These materials can be used independently by the students, or with teacher support, to reinforce and enrich skills and concepts they need. Learning environments are an excellent way to individualize the curriculum to meet the varying needs of young students.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues.
