Let me start by saying that I am grateful to be able to leave my girls at this place and not have to worry about them as I am taking care of business.

It wasn't always this way, with this facility. We moved to area about seven years ago and interviewed almost all of the local child care centers over that summer. We would pop in unannounced and request to be walked back to the age appropriate rooms immediately to see what was going on in each of the centers. At that time we chose this one as it was the "lesser-evil" per see, First 2 years or so we had some real issues with this facility. The director during that time was just letting ridiculousness occur with alarming frequency. We would discuss one issue with the director and then something else would occur. As parents we talked to other parents at the facility and of course it was common knowledge when anything suspect occurred. Toward the end of that initial two years most of us would have moved on to a different provider if it had not been for Judy. Judy had been a assistant director at the facility and was the one stepping up, firefighting and attempting to do the things that the parents knew needed to be done, of course she didn't have the authority to truly change the org as that was the directors responsibility as us parents found out. At a point we had had enough parents actually called the corporate VP and made it plain and clear that we knew who should be running the facility and they needed to make it happen. So they promoted Judy after they made one final failed attempt to find a different person to run that center. Since then the center has changed a lot. I mean when people say "it all starts at the top" this center was a real example of that being the case. The staff seemed to take her approach to taking care of us parents and she made sure if staff members were not suited to work with our kids the way she expected then they where moved and/or removed. Its been a long long long time since I have had to worry about my girls after I drop them off.

Lately we have met new people / parents at events, due to 3 of our girls being under the age of 6 and our approach to keeping them active. Many times child care comes up and lately I have heard about some of the people we have met having difficulty finding reviews for daycares when they are/where trying to chose, so I though I would provide my feedback to help all those in that space. If you are looking, all I can say is Judy will take care of you as she has with us for the last 7 years. I feel strongly about kids being treated the way parents want them to be treated when they are away, so I hope this helps the other likeminded overprotective, worry-wart type parents in the area.
