We toured this school when my husband was stationed here. Immediately I noticed many red flags. The nursery area was separated from the main building. The nursery has food all over the place. The floors were black and dirty. The kids had leftover food and boogers all over their faces and clothing. When I walked in, I heard kids crying with swollen eyes.
The main classrooms were unorganized and looked outdated. I seen one caregiver on her phone when she should have been engaging with her students. Overrall, it was pure chaotic. They teachers did not look like they had everything undercontrol. The only thing I found good was 1, the multipurpose room was large and clean. 2, the older tall african american woman with short hair looked to be very engaged with her students. and 3, the shorter petite maybe asian/mexican woman was very engaged with her students. She looked friendly and her classroom actually looked like a classroom. Her classroom was very clean and organized and she had a lesson going.
Compared to daycares in Corpus Christi, this one is more of a school. They go through the milestones needed and your baby will leave with more knowledge that they came in with knowing. If you’re a parent looking for a safe educational environment I would 1000% choose here over the other places around this town.
I would steer far away from this childcare if possible. There is no structure whatsoever. Caregivers aren’t certified. The toys are old and beat up. The classrooms are dirty and disgusting. There is no consistency at this daycare. Employees young and inexperienced. The director is rude. The classes have too many kids per ratio. There is no actual curriculum. The school is not Christian based. They do not teach the kids. It’s more of a daycare versus a pre school. The pastor is perverted and I do not trust him around my children, hence why my kids only attended here for under 6 months. This school is a total joke and should be shut down! Money hungry.
