Though I have not been into the facility yet my phone call in to see about enrollment was amazing and very helpful. She was polite and sweet! Thank you so much. And hope to be entering into your facility soon!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I am very thankful for the staff at Kid's Korner. I am greeted every day upon entering and get a "see you tomorrow!" every time I pick up. My daughter is very happy with her teachers. I work full time so my daughter is at daycare approximately 50 hours a WEEK! She learned to walk at daycare, she has learned to say words at daycare, and she continues to surprise me every day with something new she's discovered. To address the other review about their child being sick all of the time: Welcome to Daycare life. My daughter has been sick as well, but that's because she started daycare at 12 weeks old. I didn't take her out much when she was born, so her immune system was nothing. It is to be expected that they share germs and get illnesses. If you are surprised by that, you are extremely out of touch with reality. The director always makes sure to give us a head's up if there's anything going around, and for that I am very grateful. I recommend this facility to everyone I encounter. We love Kid's Korner; I will keep my child there for as long as I possibly can.

As the director, I would like to follow up on this review. While I understand your frustration, your impression of our center is beyond misguided. To claim the “dirtiest daycare ever” leads me to believe that you have not toured very many daycares – particularly in the Richland County area. Your family was referred to us by another long term attending family of Kids Korner, and I know that if we truly were the “dirtiest,” that referral wouldn’t have happened to begin with and you would never have enrolled your child. Your child has attended two other childcares? He was just transitioning out of the infant age group when your family enrolled. Welcome to Toddlers. They are the MOST prone to pick up childhood illnesses. Hand, foot, and mouth is an incredibly pesky virus but also very common. We followed protocol every time a child came to our center with it by posting it on the door, checking other children for symptoms and notifying parents when symptoms were found – which leads me to the day you pulled your child. I have never encountered a parent that was so rude and immature. You hung up on me as I was trying to discuss what symptoms your child was showing. You stormed in our building, refusing to speak to anyone. I stopped you and offered to talk to see if there was anything I could do in an attempt to make the situation better, yet you refused. It seemed at that point that you wanted to be angry rather than try and understand the situation. My apologies for you having to “miss six hours of work” however, every parent encounters this in raising their children. We simply cannot keep sick children here at the center. Moving on to the impetigo and cellulitis; no other child enrolled at our center had either one of these. I’m not quite sure how you came to the conclusion that we were at fault for this, but like I said, if other children had contracted the same illnesses, they would’ve been posted on the door for notification. Since no other child had either one, it is pretty likely that it was picked up somewhere else. Lastly, I would like to address the accusation of never having “seen employees there clean.” My only rebuttal to this would be to please spend the day at our center. Kids Korner employees are so incredibly hard working and strive for the best environment for the children in their classrooms. “Pure laziness”, in reference to our employees could not be further from the truth. For the future, I recommend you spend some time with those working in your next center. Rushing in and out every day (and rarely getting off your phone) does not allow you to build any report with those taking care of your child. Perhaps had you taken the time to get to know all of us you could have had a better understanding of where we were coming from and what goes on here. Good luck in the future.

The above review is so very comical! We invite tours and offer references.
We are an impeccably clean center.
Children usually leave our center due to:
Aging out
Moving out of school district
OR NOT ABLE TO PAY THEIR FEE.

I know exactly which family you are but I will not stoop to the level as you.

Dirty day care Aug 04, 2016
I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Dirtiest day care ever. My child has attended this day care facility for a few months. In those few months he was sick 95% of the time with preventative illness' if they would have cleaned the facility. My child has been to 2 other day cares in the past and has bad no other illness other than a cold. He has had hand foot and mouth countless times, impetigo twice, and cellulitis. If you don't know anything about cellulitis... It's hard to contract, but is contracted from lack of cleanliness and filth. Never once have I seen employees there clean. There's no reason for the amount of sickness at this day care. It is due to pure laziness.
