Kersten's Korner Nursery School

Kersten's Korner Nursery School is open from 7:00am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. Children may attend any combination of days and hours per week that are available. Each child must attend school a minimum of 2, three hour sessions per week. Half day sessions are from 8:30-11:30am and 1:00-4:00pm. The full day session is from 8:30am-4:00pm. Extended hours are available to accommodate parent's schedules, from as early as 7:00am or as late as 5:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Our school follows the Ohio Academic Content Standards for Preschool. These set guidelines list what materials and subject matters must be covered during the preschool year. This material is used as a learning step, and the Kindergarten teacher will take this preschool knowledge and build from it.

We are also a one star rated Step Up To Quality program. Step Up To Quality is Ohio's voluntary quality rating system for child care programs recognizing early care and education programs that exceed quality for Ohio's children.

We have two classrooms that separate the 3-4 year old from the 4-5 year old preschoolers. This allows you to send your child multiple years if you chose, without them repeating the same program.
