Description: Karns Elementary School is comprised of more than 1,200 students in preschool through fifth grade. Our preschool classrooms are in the Karns Annex located across the street from the west wing of the elementary school. In the main building’s west wing, you will find our kindergarten through second graders and the east wing is where the two second grade classes and all third through fifth graders are located. The gym and cafeterias are located in the center of the school linking the two wings together. We have an office in each wing for parent convenience. There is a library in the west wing for our kindergarten through second grade students, and a library in the east wing for the third through fifth graders. Students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade visit P.E., Art, and Music classes every 4 days and library and computer classes every 8 days.
