Kaneville Community Child Center (KCCC) is a Preschool and Daycare center located in the heart of Kaneville just five minutes west of Route 47 down Harter Road. The children we educate and care for live in Kaneville and the surrounding communities of Sugar Grove, Elburn, Maple Park, Hinckley, Big Rock, Sycamore, Virgil, Cortland, Batavia, and Waterman to name a few. KCCC is part of a small community where hometown values and family come first. KCCC has been in operation since 1986. In fact, we now have former students returning to KCCC with their own children! We would love to have you come in for a tour of our center and classrooms with your child. Let us show you first hand what we have to offer you and your family in a private tour.
Our programs include Beginning Learners Daycare, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Before and After Care, and School Age Care for the summer and on Kaneland days off during the school year.
We take great pride in being recognized by some of our school district’s Kindergarten teachers as “the most Kindergarten ready“. The teachers at KCCC support a play-based curriculum where they incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) activities into a fun learning theme for each week. Your child will practice writing his or her name daily and focus on a new letter and number each week. Reading to your child is a priority at KCCC and we are fortunate to share our building with the Kaneville Public Library which your student gets to visit twice a month for story time and special guests. Music is also being introduced to all the children in the center twice a month in class groups.
Our building is rich in history as it used to be a high school as well as an elementary school. It is currently the hub of Kaneville. Your child will have an indoor gym/auditorium to use for playing inside when the weather is poor. Your family will use the gym and stage for family functions like our Thanksgiving Feast and Christmas Program. Playing outside as much as possible is important for your child. KCCC has the use of two different playgrounds as well as the pavilion behind the school. Come check us out and see all that we have to offer your family!
