I have had my children, age 3yrs and 5yrs in this daycare twice.Previously for the years 2008-2009 and now they are back in again and have been there for 4mos.Never had the problems like I have been experiencing the first time my children were in this daycare. It seems that now my problems with this daycare consist of rude unprofesssional workers. On one ocassion I had brought my children to daycare at 9:00am.I was scheduled to work till 5:00 but was asked to stay till 6:15.I called the daycare to let them know this and when I picked up my children at 6:30pm I had observed my boys in front of the television while 11 of the other children were at the eating tables having dinner that consisted of pizza and macroni n' cheese. My 5yr old ran up to me crying that he was hungry and I had asked the workers why my children had not been fed and were made to sit in front of the television while the other children were eating. They told me that they had not made enough to include them and therefore in my assumption did not know how to improvise in situations like this.It was heartbreaking to see my children sitting in an area to themselves in front on the television while the other children were eating their dinner and the workers fully aware that my children were also hungry.I found this to be VERY unprofessional and disturbing.Ever since that day that I had addressed this issue my problems with the daycare began. On a couple of occasions after that incident an employee from the daycare called to my place of employment and asked for me but did not leave a name.I was busy with a customer and my co-worker had answered the call and stated that I was there and if they needed to speak to me,but the person on the other line had said "That's ok" and hung up.My job has caller I.D. on their landline business phone and I had recognized the number to the day care my chidlren attend. This is very unprofessional since I have given them no reason to think otherwise that I am not at work.I really do not know who to complain to about this and report these incidents because I do not know if the parents of the other children are having the same problems or if this is just an isolated incident with me.I am in the process of looking for another daycare, but my boys are still in this one until I can find a good daycare that is professional and caring.I do not have any other option since I am a single mother and have no family living in Pueblo.
