These challenges have limited the resources of the school and frayed community relationships. As an extended care provider the Hot Spots organization has taken note of the challenges and shifts in the educational and community environment and has accepted the responsibility to be a support system for students outside of the traditional classroom.
At Hot Spots Extended Care Program our passion for children doesn’t stop when the school day ends. Our mission is to aid students in the application of the skills that they are learning during the traditional educational day and transfer that knowledge using various instructional strategies and digital learning tools.
We view the school community as a positive partnership of collaboration and communication to help execute various initiatives.
