My son attended this school for almost a year and a half and he liked it. The teachers are nice, the facility is nice and I do like that they feed them 2 meals and snack. Although the meals aren’t the healthiest and sometimes what I was told he had to eat, wasn’t served. What I don’t like is there is no real curriculum in the classrooms. I’m a special education teacher so education is important to me. There seemed to be a lack of learning and engagement for the children. The teachers have no certifications or degrees. There is a very high turnover rate with the teachers/caregivers. The owners are rigid and do not communicate what is happening at the center, even when asked directly.
Holland has proved to my family that there is a perfect mix of fun and education. Our experience with the Three's classroom and Pre-K room has provided my daughter with play-based learning opportunities that both challenge her and help build her self confidence. There is a large emphasis throughout the school on being a good friend and life skills, which build as they grow.
Incredibly generous and kind teachers are present in each room, but the patience of those in the infant room is especially important for our family. Even the infant room participates in the school's weekly theme through age appropriate activities, crafts, songs, and books. We love that Holland utilizes the Tadpoles app. This not only provides a reminder about themes and other details, but allows us to engage our four year old in conversation about her day. The facility is ALWAYS incredibly clean and well maintained, with age appropriate toys, outdoor activities, and even science. Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack are provided based on a rotating menu and offer child-friendly choices that also expose them to new foods (edamame, red beans, and perogies to name a few).
This child care center is AWSOME! I have been bringing my daughter here for just under a year now. I had specific requirements about what, where, and how I wanted my child to attend and this school meets ALL of them! The teachers are smart, caring, and very attentive to all the children and their needs and the owner is always ready and quick to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to continuing to watch my daughter flourish here!
This child care center is fabulous! I have been very anxious to bring my children somewhere and for that reason hesitated for several years. After meeting the owner, seeing the new classrooms and getting to talk over the needs of my children with the staff I am happy to say that I felt right at home and enrolled right away. It is set in a beautiful location and feels very much like a home with small class sizes. My sons love going there and we are so glad we found them!!!
